Last Dollar Road #638

This forest road provides a scenic alternative to the paved highway when traveling between Ridgway and Telluride. It traverses through a rural ranchland setting before ascending through spruce-fir and aspen forest, providing occasional views of Wilson Peak and Greyhead. It is a popular road to travel for viewing the fall colors. Portions of the road can become impassable during wet conditions. A high clearance, four wheel drive vehicle is recommended.
