Little Coal Creek Jeep #883

The Little Coal Creek Jeep Trail #883 begins at the National Forest Boundary on Cottonwood Creek Road and ends at an intersection with the Inter-Ocean Pass Trail #890. This trail can be muddy in the lower reaches, with a large parking area at Gove Stomp, as well as an information kiosk.  From there, the trail becomes mostly rocky, and leads north to the Inter-Ocean Pass hiking/horse trail.  There are several dispersed campsites near the end of the trail that are popular during hunting season.  There are no other motorized routes off of this trail to connect with, so travelers must return the way they came.
