Silver Jack Day Use Area
Silver Jack Picnic Site has 4 picnic sites with tables and fire rings/grills. One site is accessible. There is a vault restroom. No water is available. This is a pack in/pack out site. A paved trail is adjacent to the parking lot that accesses interpretive signs and a spectacular view of the Chimney Rock Mountain and Silver Jack Reservoir.

Directions
From Montrose, CO drive east on U.S. Highway 50 to County Road 858 (Forest Access/Silver Jack Reservoir sign). Turn south on County Road 858 and travel approximately 19 miles south, past Silver Jack Campground, and turn right at the Silver Jack Overlook sign. Travel along road to picnic area.
