Campbell Creek Campground

The campground has 6 sites with Campbell Creek running through the middle and a wide variety of trees for privacy and shade. This campground provides some of the only Forest Service land available for recreating on the west side of the North Laramie Range. Expect to see lots of wildlife, including deer, elk, marmots, beaver, owls and bats. Open season is mid-May to early November. Campground host will be located at LaPrele Guard Station. 

Please be advised that this campground will be undergoing continual improvements to increase campsites for larger campers.

General Information

June - October

Wyoming State OHV stickers are required for driving any Forest Service OHV trails.

No horses. Vehicles are limited to 2 in a single site, 4 in a double and 8 in a group. A vehicle is considered anything with wheels and an axle that takes up space on a camp spur. Examples include, but are not limited to, motorhomes, camper trailers, box trailers, utility trailers, trucks, cars, SUVs, ATVs.

Day Use:
$10 per site
Overnight Use:
Single Site: $20 per night
Double site #1: $40 per night

Dogs must be kept on a leash.

From Douglas, go 20 miles southwest on WY 91, then 13 miles southwest on County Road 24.
