Hog Park Boat Dock and Ramp
The site includes picnic tables, drinking water, trash services and a vault toilet. Parking is available at the dock and can be accessed by passenger car. This is a popular spot for trout fishing and types of fishing include wade, shore, motorized boat, float tube, fly, spin and bait. All watercraft, except for inflatables 10' or less in length, must have a valid Wyoming Aquatic Invasive Species decal. For additional information on boating and fishing regulations, contact the WGFD in Cheyenne or Laramie. Site is open on a seasonal basis, dependent on snow melt.
HOG PARK PICNIC AREA: Located in the Sierra Madre Range and across the reservoir from the Hog Park Campground and boat ramp, on the northwest side of Hog Park Reservoir.

Getting There
Directions
From Encampment, drive approximately 6 miles west on Hwy 70 to the Forest Boundary, then turn south onto Forest Road 500. Continue approximately 15 miles southward on Forest Road 500 to Forest Road 496. Drive 1.5 miles on Forest Road 496. Turn right, west, at the Hog Park Campground entrance sign. Drive approximately 0.6 miles to the boat ramp.
