Morrison Divide North Trailhead
This Trailhead serves as one of two access points to the Morrison Divide Trail No. 1774. This 13.3 mile doubletrack route climbs Green Ridge and grants access to the Muddy Slide overlook at an elevation of 10,258 feet. This stopping point offers spectacular views of the Morrison Creek Valley to the East and overlooks the Muddy Slide, a historic landslide. The trail experiences heavy ATV/OHV use during hunting season and is popular with hikers and mountain bikers during summer months.
If mountain biking, this trail can be looped back to the TH on County Road 16. See bike trail map for more information.
This trail is closed to any vehicles over 50” in width.
Please tread lightly and do not ride off the designated route.
Parking is limited at this location. Additional parking and trail access can be found at Morrison Divide South Trailhead.
This trail passes through area burned in the 2021 Muddy Slide Fire. Use caution and watch for falling snags while in the burn scar.
