Meadow Ridge Campground

Meadow Ridge Campground has 19 campsites with parking areas at least 30 feet long at an elevation of 9,200 feet. Sites 12 and 13 are accessible sites. Most other sites have steps to the table and fire ring area. Facilities include tables, fire grates, two vault toilets and trash collection. This is a standard, nonelectric campground. Firewood is for sale at the campground.

Reservations are recommended between Memorial Day and Labor Day. During peak season, this campground is a full-service campground. Pre-season and extended season have reduced service for amenities such as water and trash, and a host may not be available.

The Interagency Senior Pass and the Interagency Access Pass qualify for a 50% discount for the campsite physically occupied by the pass owner, not to any additional campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass owner's party.

The following restrictions apply to this campground:

  • Dogs must be leashed at all times.
  • Horses are not permitted on the trails.
  • No discharge of firearms or fireworks is permitted.
  • Only licensed vehicles can operate inside the campground.
  • Camping is not allowed behind a locked gate.
  • All food, coolers and toiletries must be stored inside an enclosed vehicle at all times to prevent bear conflicts.

$28 fee per site for overnight camping. Two vehicles or one recreational vehicle (RV) per site is included in the camping fee. $11 for a third vehicle. 

$11 fee for day use if not camping overnight.

Fees are payable by cash, check or money order. A self-service fee tube is available. First-come, first-served sites must be occupied the same night.

Dogs must be leashed at all times.

Directions

From Colorado Springs, travel west on Highway 24 for about 18 miles to Woodland Park. Turn north on Baldwin (which turns into Rampart Range Road). Go about 2 miles to Loy Creek Road and turn right. Continue to Forest Development Road 300 (Rampart Range Road) and turn right. Follow the signs. The Rampart Reservoir entrance is about 4 miles further on the left side of the road.

Each site can accommodate two vehicles or one RV. An extra fee of $11 each will be charged for additional vehicles.
