Rock Creek Trailhead
Rock Creek Trailhead provides access to the Colorado Trail (segment 4) and the Ben Tyler Trail inside of Lost Creek Wilderness where restrictions apply. (Read more about the Colorado Trail at coloradotrail.org.)
Perched at approximately 10,000 feet in elevation adjacent to the north-west corner of the Lost Creek Wilderness, the Rock Creek stream corridor is a bustling multi-use area serving as a main Wilderness access for hikers and equestrians as well as offering dispersed camping opportunities.
Rock Creek Trailhead area provides 20 parking spots, a trailer turn-around for equestrian users as well as overflow parking spaces and dispersed camping opportunities.

Directions
From Jefferson travel north on US Highway 285 to County Road 56. Turn right and travel about six miles to Forest Road 133 and turn left. Stay on this high clearance road to the end where the trailhead is located.
