Seven Bridges Trail #622

Forest Service Trail #622 starts at Gold Camp Road (Forest Road #370) and ends at Pipeline Trail #668. This is a very popular trail with hikers in the city of Colorado Springs-North Cheyenne Cañon Park and is heavily used. The trail follows North Cheyenne Creek, where it eventually hits Pipeline Trail #668. Pipeline Trail #668 is motorized and eventually goes to Frosty Park. Currently, there no campfires permitted in the entire Bear Creek Restoration Area, as per Forest Service Order PSICC-2017-12. Campfires are NOT allowed anywhere along Seven Bridges Trail #622.

General Information

This is a major access point for El Paso County Jones Park open space. Camping is recommended 300 feet from any trail or stream. Use Leave No Trace camping techniques. Pack it in/Pack it out rule applies. Respect other trail users.

Drinking water is not readily available. Water from streams should be treated before use.

Motorized vehicles are prohibited.

Directions

From Colorado Springs, take either 26th Street or Cheyenne Road to North Cheyenne Cañon Road to Gold Camp Road. About one-half mile past the locked gate at the intersection of North Cheyenne Cañon Road, Gold Camp Road and High Drive is where the trail starts off of Gold Camp Road.
