Louis Lake Campground

The Louis Lake Campground has nine campsites around Louis Lake and the outlet of Louis Creek. The area around the inlet is very marshy and home to abundant wildlife. 

Stay limit is 16 days.

Maximum spur length is 24 feet .

Food storage is required in this campground - be prepared to store your food properly. Bear boxes available.

Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to Single Campsites ONLY .

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $15 per night without water, $20 per night if potable water is made available at the campground

Please be prepared to pay with CASH or CHECK.

 

Pet must be leashed in all campgrounds.

Louis Lake Lodge is located nearby and has boat and horse rentals.

Directions

From Lander, go south on State Highway 28 for 34.5 miles to historic South Pass. Go north on Forest Road 300 (right before South Pass City) 7.5 miles to the campground
