Lake McClellan Boating Site

This is a developed recreation site in Texas. 

Current Conditions
Lake McClellan dries out seasonally. The lake is prone to drought and low water conditions throughout the year. The reservoir has gone dry several times since 2000. If you need more information, please call the Black Kettle Ranger District.

General Information

Year round

The Cibola honors all types of America the Beautiful passes which are available for purchase at the Cibola Supervisor's Office and at all district offices. Day use passes can be purchased online.

$3/vehicle/day.  If you do not have a pass, you may purchase one online, or look for the Pay Station on site. Envelopes for payment are in the box next to the fee tube. CASH OR CHECK ONLY at pay station.
