HAPPY JACK, Ariz., June 11, 2025  — Forward progress has been stopped on the Leonard Fire, a lightning-caused wildfire located approximately 6 miles east of C.C. Cragin Reservoir atop Mogollon Rim.

Forward progress was stopped on the Leonard Fire at 6:30 a.m. today after crews conducted firing operations yesterday evening to contain the fire to a 109-acre area.

Crews assigned to the Leonard Fire include one Hotshot crew, one engine and one water tender.

Firefighters will continue to patrol the Leonard Fire perimeter. Residual smoke may linger in the area and will likely remain visible to Blue Ridge communities and motorists traveling along state Route 87 in the area.

No structures or communities are threatened at this time.
