Manzanita Campground

This creekside campground features spectacular scenery, clear water swimming holes, picturesque hiking trails and excellent opportunities for wildlife watching! In true Oak Creek Canyon fashion, you'll also have a fishing hole for your backyard. Colorful songbirds dart through trees, the creek is regularly stocked with trout, and the area is filled with Arizona ash and box elders, gravel beaches and stream-bed boulders.

Manzanita is a small campground, which means that trailers, campers and TVs are prohibited. It's open year-round, and though reservations can be made, they're in high demand and can be hard to come by. Access is easy. The campground is just a few yards off of state Route 89A, and the pull-throughs are paved.
