Midgley Bridge Observation Site

This is a popular picnic site at the mouth of Oak Creek Canyon just north of Sedona. This site offers beautiful views of Mitten Ridge and the surrounding red rock landscape. It is the trailhead for these hiking trails:

  • Wilson Canyon
  • Wilson Mountain
  • Huckaby

Jim Thompson Trail and the Allens Bend Trail can be accessed from Huckaby Trail. There are three picnic tables and toilets available here. Parking may be a problem due to congestion.

General Information

Red Rock Pass or America the Beautiful Pass required.

Do not walk out onto the bridge.

Pets must be leashed or controlled at all times.
