The Red Rock Ranger Station has an amazing visitor center where visitors and locals alike will enjoy learning about the area’s many scenic wonders and world class recreation opportunities.

Inside the visitor center building:

General Information

Restroom facilities are available at the visitor center along with drinking water fountains.

Pets are not permitted in any federal buildings, including the visitor center and administrative building (GPO: 41 CFR 102-74.425). Service animals are the only exception. Both the visitor center and administrative buildings have large front porch areas where pets are welcome. All pets must be on a leash and accompanied by a responsible person. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet.

Directions

Location: The Red Rock Ranger Station and Visitor Center are both located 6 miles north of the I-17 junction on State Route 179. This location is also one mile south of the Village of Oak Creek (Big Park). Look for the large brown and cream colored sign and turn lane into the compound.
