Small boat launch at Lake Roberts for non-motorized boats and boats with electric motors and a fishing dock accessible for people with disabilities.

This is a day-use area only. It is open from dawn to dusk.
No pass required
Permits are required for commercial or organized uses.
Only electric motors and non-motorized boats are permitted on Lake Roberts. Boat launch site is day use only.
No fees are required for this site
Pets must be leashed in developed recreation sites, such as the boat launch and parking areas.
Please contact the Gila National Forest Supervisors Office at 575-388-8201 for information about outfitters and guides who are authorized to operate on the forest.

Directions
From Silver City, follow U.S. Highway 180 east approximately 9 miles to New Mexico Highway 152, turning left (east) onto Hwy. 152 for about 15 miles to New Mexico Highway 35. Turn left/north on Highway 35, following it for 24 miles to Lake Roberts, following the sign for Lake Roberts picnic ground and boat ramp. Turn left onto Forest Road 627 to access the boat launch.

Lake Roberts is a man-made lake of about 70 acres in size and maximum depth of 35 feet. It is located within the Wilderness Ranger District along New Mexico Highway 35.
