Mogollon Box Day Use Area
Day use area at the confluence of the Gila River and Mogollon Creek. The southern portion of the day use area, along the Gila River remains closed to all entry.

Permits are required for commercial or organized uses.
Please do not camp in trailhead parking areas. All stock feed brought onto the Gila National Forest must be certified weed free.
No fees are required for this site
Pets must be leashed in the day-use area

From US Highway 180 at Cliff, turn east on New Mexico Highway 211 (Box canyon road) and follow it approximately 1 mile to the Y, following the left fork onto County Road 293 and follow it approxmately 7 miles to its end at Mogollon Box Day Use area.
