Granite Basin Boating Site

Granite Basin Lake is a small (5 acre) lake. It is not stocked with fish, but patient anglers may catch bluegill, largemouth bass and catfish.

A valid fishing or combination license is required for resident and non-resident anglers 10 years of age or older fishing any publicly accessible water in Arizona.

Year-round

  • March 1 - April 30: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • May 1 - August 31: 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • September 1 - November 30: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • December 1 - February 28 (or 29): 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Pets must be on a leash (6' maximum)

Day Use:
$5 per vehicle per day
$20 per four-month pass
$40 per annual pass
No fee every Wednesday

From the corner of Iron Springs Rd. and Williamson Valley Rd in Prescott, AZ: Northwest on Iron Springs approximately 3 miles. Right on Granite Basin Rd. Follow road 3.5 miles. Boat Ramp is on the right.
