Seven Springs Picnic Site

Seven Springs Picnick Site was constructed by the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) in 1934. The entrance road and portions of the picnick site wash out regularly so there is no vehicle access to the site.

Camping is available approximately 300 yards north at the CCC Campground.

General Information

The CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) constructed this recreation site in 1934. Large sycamore trees next to a small creek provide shade. Though the water of the creek is only ankle deep, it offers a cool respite from Arizona’ssummer heat.

Stay limit 1 day, no trailers, day use only. No services. PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Glass containers prohibited. Bury human waste 6-8 inches and at least 200 feet away from camp, trails, water sources, and dry drainages. Private land nearby (working ranch): No trespassing; Do not cross flooded roadways. Use caution during the rainy season. The area (like all desert creeks) is prone to flash flooding.

No fees required after May 30, 2012.
