Little Saddle Mountain

Little Saddle Mountain Trail is part of the Arizona National Scenic Trail with the exception of a half mile between its junction with Sunflower Trail #344 and the Cross-F Trailhead where it starts. The upper section of this route enters the Mazatzal Wilderness boundary before ending at the Saddle Mountain Trail #91 where the AZT continues to make its way North.

Primitive wilderness trail 4 miles in length 

Use of any mechanized or motorized travel is prohibited on this trail. No more than 15 people are allowed to be in a group. No more than 15 head of livestock are allowed in a group.

Directions

From Mesa, take State Route 87 North roughly 47 before taking a right onto Forest Road #627. Follow the 627 road 3.7 miles to the turn off for the Cross-F Trailhead.
