Peters Trail is almost entirely located in the Superstition Wilderness with exception of it's start at the end of MT-213. The route has some excellent scenic vistas and connects to the Dutchman's Trail #104 where users can explore a multitude of connecting trails and loop hiking opportunities.

General Information

7.2 miles in length. Connects users from the end of MT-213 at the Superstition Wilderness Boundary to the Dutchman's Trail #104 at La Barge Creek. 

Use of any mechanized or motorized travel is prohibited on this trail. No more than 15 people are allowed to be in a group. No more than 15 head of livestock are allowed in a group.

End of MT-213 at the Superstition Wilderness Boundary. 

Directions

From the Canyon Lake Marina continue East to Tortilla trailhead and the start of MT-213. A high clearance 4x4 vehicle will be needed to access MT-213 or users can park at the trailhead and hike the 3 miles of MT-213 to the wilderness boundary and the start of Peters Trail.
