Kingfisher Island Boat-in Campground

Nestled in the southwest arm of Flaming Gorge Reservoir, Kingfisher Island offers a unique and serene camping experience with 8 boat-in only tent sites on its picturesque east shore. The campground boasts new docks that provide easy access to the island and stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Fishing enthusiasts will be delighted by the abundant opportunities in Flaming Gorge Reservoir, home to mackinaw (lake trout), Utah chub, rainbow trout, channel catfish, and smallmouth bass. Whether you're casting a line or simply soaking in the natural beauty, Kingfisher Island is a perfect destination for relaxation and adventure.
