Mustang Ridge Campground
Mustang Ridge Campground sits atop a scenic high desert bluff overlooking the stunning Flaming Gorge Reservoir. The reservoir is just half a mile from the campground, offering easy access to its sparkling waters.
Nestled within a vibrant mix of pinyon pines, junipers, and sagebrush, the campground provides both privacy and a touch of wilderness charm. While the vegetation allows for partial shade, the outer loop campsites boast expansive views from the ridge, perfect for taking in the breathtaking reservoir scenery.
An adjacent boat ramp provides convenient access for boating, water skiing, and fishing adventures. For those seeking a quieter retreat, Sunny Cove Day Use Area is only a half-mile away, offering opportunities for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, and fishing.
The campground features showers and trash collection for visitor convenience. Dump stations are available at nearby locations, including Antelope Flat, Deer Run, Firefighters, and Lodgepole campgrounds (fees apply).
Campers can also enjoy the amphitheater located on the outer loop, complete with bleacher seating and a screen support for gatherings or presentations.
Firewood is available for purchase from the campground host.
