Coyote Meadows

Hiking and horseback riding is popular on this trail within the Jedediah Smith Wilderness. 

The Coyote Meadows Trailhead includes a parking area, 3 hitch rails, a corral, bear boxes, and a  vault toilet.

Getting There

Directions

To access Coyote Meadows trailhead head east from Ashton on State Highway 32 approximately 16 miles and turn north at Lamont. Go north 1 mile and then turn east on Coyote Meadows Road. Follow Coyote Meadows Road 11 miles to the trail head. Coyote Meadows trailhead has restrooms, hitch rails, and a few camp sights.
