Duck Creek Campground lies adjacent to Duck Creek Pond and Duck Creek, both excellent fishing waters. This picturesque spot rests beneath a sheltering canopy of ponderosa pine and aspen; it provides easy access to several recreational activities and breathtaking scenery. The Duck Creek Visitor Center provides useful information to help visitors make the most of their experience on the Dixie National Forest.

All campsites located in Loops B-E are anticipated to be closed through late summer 2025 due to construction. Your patience is appreciated while the area receives updates.

Some sites are first come, first served basis.

  • 7 double sites with picnic tables and fire rings
  • 4 group sites with picnic tables and fire rings
  • ATV corral for all OHV parking
  • ABA access sites (site #1 - #55)
  • Drinking water available Memorial Day through Labor Day
  • Flush and vault toilets
  • Garbage disposal

Late May - Mid September

  • Quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
  • Campfires in developed fire pits only
  • Fireworks are prohibited
  • Dogs must be on leash
  • OHV use prohibited in the A and B loops.
  • D, C and E loops allows OHV Access to and from the trail only.
  • Maximum length of stay: 14 days

Directions

28 miles east of Cedar City on Scenic Byway SR 14. The campground entrance is adjacent to the highway.
