King Creek Campground

King Creek Campground is situated in a ponderosa pine forest, adjacent to Tropic Reservoir and the East Fork of the Sevier River. It is approximately 9 miles west of Bryce Canyon National Park. Access is provided by an improved gravel road. This campground provides paved sidewalks at select sites to provide improved accessibility.

Kings Creek is a favorite of ATV enthusiasts because of its easy access to a large network of trails. The Fremont ATV trail passes within 1/4 mile of the campground and the Great Western Trail is nearby. Hiking and mountain biking trails are plentiful as well, with access from various points within the campground. Tropic Reservoir offers boating, canoeing and fishing for brook, rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout. A boat ramp is within 1/2-mile of the campground. The East Fork Sevier River is nearby with good fishing opportunities. OHVs are allowed for ingress and egress to campsites.

King Creek Trail and Chimney Rock Trail are accessible from inside the campground. They both have great views of Hoodoos from the bottom and the top. They also have beautiful overviews of Tropic Reservoir.

There are six OHV loop trails that are accessible from the campground. These loops are a part of the Paunsaugunt OHV Trail System.
