This trail starts in Pine Valley and climbs up the laccolith following the seasonal Forsyth Creek. There are several creek crossings as the trail winds up the contours of the mountain. There are several aspen groves and meadow openings until you reach the crest of the mountain. Enjoy the solitude of the Pine Valley Wilderness and keep it wild for other visitors by following Leave No Trace principles. Continue up Summit Trail, down Blake-Gubler Trail, or turn around to descend the way you came up.
