Maple Hollow Rec Site

Picnic Site and Campground. Facilities include tables, fire rings, water, restrooms, dirt road access. There is no garbage pickup, please pack out all trash.

General Information

Memorial Day - Labor Day

Open 24 hours/day

Groups over 75 people require a permit. This may be obtained free of charge at the Fillmore Ranger District Office.

-OHVs are allowed only to access the adjacent trail system, not for general riding within the campground.

-Quiet time is between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am mountain time. 

-16-day, 15-night stay limit.

-Follow local fire restrictions and fully extinguish campfires before leaving.

-Pack out all trash and follow leave no trace principles.

-Store food properly in bear-proof containers.

No fees are required for this site

Directions

The Maple Hollow Rec Site is approximately 7.4  miles east of Holden, Utah. From Holden head south on main street for 1.4 miles. Turn left  and drive east on Maple Hollow Canyon Road (FS-098) 6 miles to the Campground.  If traveling on  I-15, take exit 174 and drive east on Maple Hollow Canyon Road (FS-098) 5.9 miles to the Campground.
