Silver King Mine Interpretive
Overview
Interpretive Site (Minor). Silver King is a historic Gold Mine that was claimed by Brigham "Brig" Daniel Darger of Spanish Fork, Utah in 1894. It was a working gold mine throughout the 1890's and it was his place of residence with his wife Pansy Permelia Brown and their ten children. Throughout this interpretive area there is a trail with 8 interpretive information posts.
General Information
- No camping allowed.
- Pets must be on a leash.
- Fires are prohibited.
No fees are required for this site
- Pets must be leashed at all times within this recreation area. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors and to protect wildlife.
- Clean up dog waste and dispose of it properly.
- Keep dogs from chasing, harassing, and disturbing wildlife or other visitors.
- When on a trail, yield to other hikers, horses, and other trail users by stepping off the trail and keeping control of your dog.

Directions
The Silver King Mine Interpretive Site is located approximately 12 miles northwest of Marysvale, Utah. From Marysvale, Utah go west on West Bullion Avenue for 0.6 miles. Follow North Beaver Creek Road (FR113) as it turns right for 11.7 miles. The site will be on the left. Optional access can be made from exit 17 on Interstate 70. On the North side of this interchange take FR 113 11.6 miles heading south to the Silver King interpretive Site.
