Tushar Lakeside Campground
Overview
Located within the Beaver Ranger District, Tushar Lakeside Campground is nestled in a forest of aspen and mixed conifer. The lake and small meadow offer ample recreation opportunities to visitors and is a popular destnation for large youth groups. The campground is managed by Beaver County, Utah.
Facilities
Tushar Lakeside Campground has 16 multiple family units, a large, covered pavilion near the water, two restroom facilities, drinking water and a small meadow for sports and recreational games and activities.
Recreation
Recreational activities include kayaking and canoeing rentals along with swimming. Forest Trail #3626 takes off from the campground and winds up through the mountain above the Tushar Reservoir to Birch Creek Reservoir for a nice day hike.

General Information
Lower Kents Lake, or Tushar Reservoir, is a small 6 acre shallow lake located just downstream from Kent's Lake at an elevation of 8,647 feet. The historic dam is stabilized and keeps a constant water level, though the maximum depth is only eight feet. Rainbow trout make up the bulk of the fishing opportunity, though brook trout and Bonneville cutthroat trout are also stocked by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources annually. - Open to all street legal vehicles including street legal ATV/UTV for ingress and egress only.
- Fires in designated fire rings only.
- Pets must be on a leash.
- Camping limit is 16 days.

- Pets must be leashed at all times within this recreation area. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors and to protect wildlife.
- Clean up dog waste and dispose of it properly.
- Keep dogs from chasing, harassing, and disturbing wildlife or other visitors.
- When on a trail, yield to other hikers, horses, and other trail users by stepping off the trail and keeping control of your dog.
- Kayak and canoe rentals are available at the campground

Directions
Tushar Lakeside campground is located approximately 14 miles east of Beaver Utah. From Beaver travel 10 miles east on UT-153, turn right onto Kents Lake Road (FR137) and travel another four miles. Turn right into the Campground.
