BLIND SUMMIT PIT AND STATE PIT AREA CLOSURES

The Salmon-Challis National Forest has implemented an area closure# 0413-25-003 for public safety due to construction activities and contractor camping.   

The following described areas are closed:  

The Blind Summit Pit as depicted in Exhibit A(link). The Described Area is located in Section 31, Township 12 North, Range 12 East, Boise Meridian.  

The State Pit as depicted in Exhibit B (link). The Described Area is located in Section 16, Township 12 North, Range 11 East, Boise Meridian. 

This Order shall be in effect from June 6, 2025, at 4 pm through August 31, 2025, at 11:59 pm, unless rescinded.  The closure order and maps can be found at https://www.fs.usda.gov/r04/salmon-challis/alerts/blind-summit-pit-and-state-pit-area-closures
