Iron Bog Campground

This campground has 21 campsites with a maximum length trailer size of 35 foot. Seven sites are located along Iron Bog creek and the rest are out in the open sage-brush. There is one hand pump (during summer months) and two accessible restrooms. Four campsites have shade-awnings. Non-reservable campground with a $10.00/night fee. Hitching rail available outside of the campground, no horses are allowed in the campground.  One group campsite with 25 person capacity. Nearby Iron Bog Lake, Brockie Lake and Fishpole Lake. Smiley Mountain looms overhead. Use is light, with the exception of holiday weekends.

  The following passes are good for 50% reduction in camping fees: SENIOR PASS – Available for $80.00 Lifetime or $20.00 Annual to US Citizens 62 years and older.  Must be purchased in person with proof of age such as driver’s license. ACCESS PASS – Available FREE of charge to US citizens that have been medically determined to have a permanent disability that severely limits one or more major life activities.  Must be maintained in person with written proof of disability.

From Mackay: Take US Highway 93 south of Mackay to the Antelope Creek Road. Turn right on the Antelope Creek Road. Follow this road 19 miles to the campground. From Arco: Take US Highway 93 north of Arco to the Antelope Creek Road. Turn left on the Antelope Creek Road. Follow this road 19 miles to the campground.
