FRANKLIN BASIN ROAD
For the protection of road users on the Franklin Basin Road, #20006, this order is established.
Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50 (a) and (b), the following acts are prohibited on the Franklin Basin Road as shown on the map. All lands affected are located on the Logan Ranger District, Wasatch-Cache National Forest. This order is in effect until further notice.
- Using any type of motorized wheeled vehicle between November 15 to May 1 each year. [36 CFR 261.54(a)]
Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50 (e), the following acts, or persons, are exempt from this order:
- Persons with a permit or contract authorizing the otherwise prohibited act.
- Authorized Federal, state, or local officers, or members of and organized rescue or firefighting force in the performance of official duty, when authorized by the District Ranger.

Violation of this prohibition is punishable by fine of not more than $5,000 or imprisonment of not more than 6 months or both (16 USC 551; 18 USC 3571 (b) (6)
This order supersedes any previous orders/notices for the above-described areas, and same said violation(s).
