Payson Lakes Campground

Payson Lakes Campground is situated in stands of aspen and fir trees. There is a lake within the campground where you can boat, fish, and swim. An asphalt walkway goes around the lake. There are also nearby hiking trails and open areas where recreation activities can occur. The campground is just off a National Scenic Byway, about 12 miles from Payson, a full-service community. The campground has no hook-ups or phone service. Popular local activities include river and lake fishing, lake floating, rafting, kayaking, swimming, and day-hiking.

This campground is open seasonally and operated by a Concessionaire. Restrooms are available during the open season. This campground typically has water available. For the most current conditions about this campground and amenities available please refer to recreation.gov. 

Powerboats are prohibited. No all-terrain or off-highway vehicles allowed in the campground.

Single Site: $27.67 per night
Double Site: $55.35 per night
Yurt Site: $106.23 per night
Group Site: $191.04 per night (1-75 people), $272.27 (1-100 people)

Directions

From Nephi, Utah travel east on 100 North to Forest Road 015 (Nebo Loop Road) and turn left. Travel on Nebo Loop for approximately 24.5 miles and turn left on Forest Road 018. Travel into the campground on Forest Road 018. 

From the intersection of Center Street and Main Street in Santaquin travel on Center Street South. Continue on Center street which becomes Canyon Road and then Forest Road 014. Travel on this road approximately 9.1 miles. Turn left to stay on Forest Road 014 and travel 2.1 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road 015/Nebo Loop Road and travel 4.7 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road 018 and follow to the campground.

Payson Lakes is adjacent to the campground. The Payson Lakes area is made up of McClelland, Box and Big East Lakes.
