Timpooneke Campground

Timponeeke Campground is located in a mountainous area next to the Mt. Timpanogos Wilderness. Aspen, spruces and fir trees are the dominant tree species. Hiking, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing are popular activities in this area. Site amenities include firewood, grills and picnic tables.

General Information

This campground is open seasonally and operated by a Concessionaire. Restrooms are available during the open season. This campground typically has water available. For the most current conditions about this campground and amenities available please refer to recreation.gov. 

Pets must be leashed. Gates are locked from 10pm to 7am. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. No ATV's/OHV's allowed in campground. Highway 92 has a vehicle length restriction of 30 feet over the Alpine Scenic Loop, the Timpooneke Campground is on the Alpine Scenic Loop.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $27 per night
Double Site: $55.35 per night
Yurt: $106.23 per night
Group Site: $141.94 per night (1-40 people)

Directions

From Salt Lake City, Utah, take Highway 15 to the Alpine-Highland exit (exit 284) and go east on Highway 92 for 5 miles to the junction of Highway 92 and the North Fork of American Fork Canyon. Keep going straight east, up the South Fork, and continue on the Alpine Scenic Loop for 3.5 miles to the campground.
