There are several mines along the Cardiff Fork Road and the State of Utah recommends that you do not enter them for your safety.

Getting There

Directions

Travel on Big Cottonwood Canyon Road for about 8.8 miles up the canyon to Cardiff Fork (Mill D South Fork). Then it will be 1.25 miles to the parking area. Trail starts out with the Dougnut Falls Trail and continues up the old mining road to the Cardiff Fork Mine.
