For further information about the Lone Peak Wilderness and Leave No Trace, please go to http://www.wilderness.net/ and Search Lone Peak.

Please note that there is a year round, open fire restriction for the entire Silver Lake basin. Violators will be cited. The Lone Peak Wilderness was established by Congress in 1977 with the purpose of keeping the area in a pristine state.
