The Stewarts Cascade trail departs from the south side of the Mount Timpanogos TH, traveling 1.9 miles to a scenic waterfall within the Mount Timpanogos Wilderness area. This trail is an excellent day hike for families.

Trail Grade: Trail grades range from 10 to 20 percent

Trail Considerations: Trail users should be aware of the high level of use that this trail receives, and should expect to see each type of user group on any given day. For reasons related to sustainability and safety, remain on designated trails. The trail ends at the falls. Social routes going up around to the falls are steep and dangerous. As this hike does enter the Mount Timpanogos Wilderness area, keep group sizes fewer than 15 people.

Beginning at the Junction with SR-189 (Provo Canyon), go 4.9 miles up the Alpine Loop to the Mount Timpanogos TH; park only in designated spaces.
