Snow Facilities and Permits

Adventure Mountain, Lake Tahoe

The Echo Summit Sno-Park on the south side of Highway 50 is no longer part of the state Sno-Park system. The facility is now operated under special use permit and is now called Adventure Mountain, Lake Tahoe. This facility features a great sledding hill, restrooms, and parking. Additional amenities will be added as this new venture develops.

Open/Close: 7 days a week generally from late November to April, weather permitting. Check website for actual dates.

Fees: User fees are $40.00 (weekdays) or $45 (weekends or holidays) per vehicle. Currently there are no season passes and no overnight parking. Sno-Park tickets will not be accepted. Sleds, inner tubes, and helmets can be rented at the Lodge or bring your own.

Note: The gate will be closed in the evening to provide for night time snow removal. Adventure Mountain will groom and manage the sledding hills. This is different from past use and will hopefully provide a safer place for family recreation.

For more information go to their website at adventuremountaintahoe.com .
