General Information

CAUTION: There are bears in the area. Please keep all foods, soaps, and garbage properly stored.
Check ahead. Campfires may not be allowed during fire restrictions.

June - October

Check in: 2:00 p.m.; Check-out: 1:00 p.m.

Interagency Senior and Access passes are accepted for single family units.

OHV use is not allowed in the campground. OHV’s must be trailered to staging areas and authorized routes in the Bear River Reservoir area.
Check out time is 1:00 p.m.
Camping Fires: Please use the grill or fire ring provided. Make sure your fire is dead out before leaving, using only water, not soil. Use only dead and down wood for your campfires.
Maximum Stay Limit: 14 days per district per year.

$30/single site.
$60/double site.

38 miles east of Jackson on Highway 88, 8.5 miles south on Forest Road 92 (Ellis Road), and 2.5 miles east on Forest Road 8N50 (Salt Springs Road).

Water

Potable water is not available at this site.

There is no piped water at the campground. Water from the river is available but should be boiled before using. Water quality testing is not performed on open water sources.
