Forks Campground

Forks Campground is located near the junction of the South Fork and the Middle Fork of Bishop Creek. Most of the sites are tucked into the aspen and pine trees, some sites are along the banks of Bishop Creek. Bearproof food storage containers available in the campground. 27 campsites.

General Information

Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

America the Beautiful Senior and Access Passes are accepted for half priced camping - you can enter your pass number as you make a reservation at www.recreation.gov  

Maximum stay 14 days. Active bear area. All food must be secured overnight and when not attended, bear boxes are provided and must be used (typical bear box size 48" x 30" x 36").  Always keep a clean camp and do not feed wildlife.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $34 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per vehicle per night

Dogs must be leashed in all developed recreation sites.

Directions

From Bishop, go west on State Route 168 (Line Street)approximately 15 miles. Turn left at the junction of the South Lake Road, the campground will be the first right turn about 1/4 mile.
