Lone Pine Campground
Located six miles west of the town of Lone Pine, California this campground is seven miles by road from the popular Whitney Portal Recreation Area. The Whitney Portal National Recreation Trail begins at west end of the campground. Other popular activities near the campground include hiking, exploring the Alabama Hills movie history, and fishing nearby streams. Firewood for sale at the campground.

General Information
Historically, there has been a high level of bear activity at Lone Pine Campground. Bear-proof lockers are located at each site. All food and scented items must be stored in the lockers. All trash must be disposed of in the bear proof trash receptacles. Do not store food, trash or scented items in your vehicle.
Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
Active bear area, bear boxes are provided and must be used (typical bear box size 48" x 30" x 36").
Overnight Use:
Single Site: $34 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per vehicle per night
Dogs must be leashed in all developed recreation sites.
