Monache Meadows Jeep Road
This is a remote area of the Kern Plateau reached by a rough and rocky road, High Clearance a must, 4WD recommended. Please drive with caution as dirt roads may be soft and impassable due to wet conditions and cold temperatures.
Dispersed camping , fishing and hiking are all available here, Monache Meadows is surrounded by the Golden Trout Wilderness .
Anything you pack in must be packed out.
