Blackwood Canyon Campground

Blackwood Canyon Campground is located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe near Homewood. This small campground on Barker Pass Road has six sites, metal fire rings and a restroom. The campground is located on National Forest lands and is operated under a special use permit by Tahoe Recreation, a Division of Vista Recreation.

 

Current Conditions
Campfires (wood, charcoal or any other solid fuels) only permitted within permanent, iron fire rings when the campground is open.

Getting There

Directions

From South Lake Tahoe: Take Highway 89 northwest to Barker Pass Road, then turn left. The campground is on the right approximately three miles from the highway.
