Arroyo Seco Day use Picnic Area

The Day Use Area at Arroyo Seco is now open.

Official parking in the Day Use Area is limited to the first 100 cars. Parking on Arroyo Seco road is prohibited.

Day Use Area fee is $10 per vehicle.

General Information:

The Arroyo Seco Day Use area is located along the Arroyo Seco River among the oak and cottonwood trees and offers opportunities for barbequing and picnicking under three large pergolas.  There are numerous tables and grills throughout the site.  Water is available from a number of spigots in the area and there are two restrooms with flush toilets and sinks. 

Swimming and wading in the nearby river is a favorite summertime activity.

Amenities: Parking, picnic tables, grills, water hydrants, trash receptacles, flush toilets, sinks.

General Information

Arroyo Seco Day Use Area is available year around and is open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day during the peak season and from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM during the off season.

$10.00 per vehicle per day.

Directions

Directions: Direction from nearest town: From the South (Paso Robles), take Highway 101 to the Arroyo Seco exit into Greenfield.  Make a left turn on Elm St.  Go west to Arroyo Seco Road and turn left; Recreation Area is at the end of Arroyo Seco Road, approximately 20 miles.

From the North, take Highway 101 just pass Soledad. Go west to Arroyo Seco Road and turn left; Recreation Area is at the end of Arroyo Seco Road.
