Lower Rose Valley Lake Day Use Area

Lower Rose Valley Lake is a major attraction during the summer months on the Ojai Ranger District.  It is located 4 miles off of the Sespe River Road, also known as Rose Valley Road.  Access to the lake is open all year.

No overnight camping. Camping is only allowed in nearby Middle Lion or Rose Valley Campgrounds.

Getting There

Directions

From Highway 33/150 junction in Ojai, turn north on Highway 33 and continue 15 miles.  Turn right into Rose Valley Recreation Area on Forest Road 6N31.  This is also known as the Sespe River Road/Rose Valley Road.  Continue for 4 miles and make first left, proceed 1/2 mile to the lake.
