Beardsley Dam Campground

Beardsley Dam Campground is located near Beardsley Dam on Forest Road 5N02 at the south end of Beardsley Reservoir. Traveling east on CA Highway 108, turn left at the Beardsley Dam sign, 5 miles east of the Summit Ranger Station on CA Highway 108.  Follow the paved road across the dam to the campground.  There are a total of 16 sites.  The main road and parking pads are paved with the exception of the walk-in sites which are gravel.  Restrooms are vault toilets.  Each site has a table and metal fire ring.  Potable water is available.  Trash service is available. A fee is charged for extra vehicle parking. There are no designated trails to the reservoir from the campground.

Check in: 2:00 p.m.; Check-out: 12:00 p.m.; Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

If you wish to use a stove, grill, or have a campfire it is recommended, but not required, that you get a campfire permit.  This FREE Permit can be obtained at preventwildfiresca.org or at any ranger station. Do not burn plastic or metal. Please leave the area in as good (or better) condition than you found it. 
The Interagency Senior and Interagency Access Passes are honored and provide a 50 percent discount on camping fees in the campground.  Pass number must be written on fee envelope or Pass must be shown to Host.  The Interagency Annual and Volunteer passes do not provide any discounts on camping.

Camp in designated sites only. The number of people allowed in a single campsite is six. The maximum length of stay in any campground is 14-days. Please leave the area in as good (or better) condition than you found it.  Maximum RV/Trailer Length - 36 feet

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $30 per night

The Forest Service operates Beardsley Dam Campground and charges the following fees: New campsite fee prices, 2024 & 2025 $25 per night for single site, $55 per night for double site; In 2026  fee raises to $30 per night for single site and $60 per night for double site. The America the Beautiful, Interagency Senior and Access Passes are honored and receive 50% off the nightly rate. Only applicable to the single site the pass holder occupies.  Pass number must be written on fee envelope. The Interagency Annual and Volunteer passes do not provide any discounts on camping.
