Dardanelle Campground
Dardanelle Campground is situated in a mixed conifer forest along the banks of the Stanislaus River. It is located 23 miles east of the Summit Ranger Station on Highway 108, opposite the Dardanelle Resort. There are a total of 28 camping sites; two double sites and four walk-in sites. The main road and parking pads are paved. Restrooms are vault toilets. Water is piped; each hydrant serves several sites. A fee is charged for extra vehicle parking. Two trails travel from the campground to the Stanislaus River.

Check in: 2:00 p.m.; Check-out: 12:00 p.m.; Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
If you wish to use a stove, grill, or have a campfire it is recommended, but not required, that you get a campfire permit. This FREE Permit can be obtained at preventwildfiresca.org or at any ranger station. Do not burn plastic or metal. Please leave the area in as good (or better) condition than you found it.
The Interagency Senior and Interagency Access Passes are honored and provide a 50 percent discount on camping fees in the campground. Pass number must be written on fee envelope or Pass must be shown to Host. The Interagency Annual and Volunteer passes do not provide any discounts on camping. Passes are not accepted for group or double sites.
Camp in designated sites only. The number of people allowed in a single campsite is six. The maximum length of stay in any campground is 14 days. Please leave the area in as good (or better) condition than you found it. Often, locations destroyed by thoughtless campers must be closed to restore the area's natural health. Help ensure your favorite area remains open.

Single Site: $28 per night
Double Site: $50 per night

- $50.00 for a double-family site
