Trout Lake Campground

This small campground has private tent sites close to the lake with access to a fishing dock. There is a small boat launch and the lake is noncombustible motors only. The campground also hosts the Hoodoo Canyon Trail #17 Trail Head.  This is a 4.7-mile hiking trail that also intersects the Emerald Lake #94  hiking trail. Wildlife has been seen frequently at the lake which includes moose and whitetail deer. This area is frequently used by fishermen, hikers, and hunters.

Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Washington state fishing license required. See Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife at http://wdfw.wa.gov/ for more information. Internal combustion motors prohibited.
  • Quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
  • Campfire in developed fire ring only        
  • Fireworks are prohibited
  • Pets must be on leash       
  • OHV use prohibited in the campground          
  • Maximum length of stay: 14 days       
  • Food and wildlife attractants must be properly stored at all times

Directions

From Kettle Falls, WA:  Head west on US-395 N for approximately 3.7 miles.  Turn left onto WA-20 W for 5.2 miles. Turn right onto Trout Lake Rd (Forest Road 020) and continue for 5.1 mile to Trout Lake.
