East Lake Boating Site

East Lake is situated in the Newberry Caldera and is fed by snowmelt and underground springs.

This boat launch is on the southwest side of East Lake within the East Lake Campground and has a paved boat ramp and small parking lot.

Recreation Fee Site: A recreation pass is required. The recreation fee is $5 per vehicle per day or may be covered by the Northwest Forest Pass (annual and day pass). This location is operated by concessionaire.

Directions

From Bend, OR: Travel south on Highway 97 for approximately 20.3 miles, then turn left at County Road 21 (Paulina-East Lake Road) and travel 16 miles to the East Lake Campground.
